Yumi Sugimoto (杉本 有美, Sugimoto Yumi; born April 1, 1989) is a Japanese model, actress, and singer, represented by the talent agency Face Planning.

Modeling
Sugimoto began her modeling journey at a young age, gaining early recognition during elementary school when she was selected in a Grand Prix semi-audition for the popular girls’ manga magazine Ribon.

Acting
Her breakthrough in acting came in July 2007 when she landed her first leading role in TV Tokyo’s late-night drama series Boys Esté. She later gained wider attention portraying Miu Sutō, also known as Go-on Silver, in the 2008 tokusatsu series Engine Sentai Go-onger on TV Asahi. Sugimoto also starred in the cult action-horror film Mutant Girls Squad, directed by Tak Sakaguchi, Noboru Iguchi, and Yoshihiro Nishimura.

Music
In addition to singing character songs for Engine Sentai Go-onger, Sugimoto has shown a passion for music production. She released her debut single, Harukoi, composed by Tomosuke Funaki, on February 17, 2010.
